Mad but Magic exists to engage with young adult literature and other readers, bringing our passion for, and love of, YA  novels to a wider audience and encouraging thoughtful reflection and discussion.

As we’re just getting started with this blog, we’d love to hear from you! If you’re an author or a publisher with a book you’re looking to have reviewed, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

We like to think that our reviews are honest and fair. All reviews will contain a quick summary of the book, either by us or from Goodreads.

We'll rate each book between 1-5 stars and award special bonus badges like the Guilty Pleasure Badge, the Tissue Box Badge, and the I’d Marry You If You Were Real Badge (see our badges page for a full list). We hope to post one long review every Monday, as well as a Top Ten Tuesday list  (all credit for original feature goes to the lovely ladies at The Broke and the Bookish) and a quick little snapshot on Friday.

We love most kinds of YA fiction (and some NA, too). But we have a special place in our hearts for fantasy, paranormal, and historical genres.
